Late Life Wishes
Late Life Wishes is a brand new Irish government funded initiative led by the Emerald Centre Leicester to support isolated elders of the diaspora in the East Midlands.

This is a mobile project that has a small team of wish facilitators that has decades of experience of working with community members.

Who are the Emerald Centre?
​
Part of the Emerald Centre mandated constitution is it to work with vulnerable and economically struggling community members.
​
The Emerald Centre is said, by some, to be the local hub of the Irish social scene in Leicester. Kiran Kala, the centre manager has been involved in the facility for over a decade. Kiran, along with her dedicated team, are deeply connected to the local community, and use the Emerald Centre as a vehicle to offer a space for people to come together.
